It began with unimaginable tragedy—five months after losing his beloved three-year-old son, Nicholas, in a devastating accident, Christopher faced his own battle for life. His heart stopped beating for 40 minutes after overdosing on nerve medication. Yet, against all odds, he returned to us, a living miracle. Chris has an anoxic brain injury. He was comatose but has progressed to a semi-conscious state. God is healing Chris.
Today, Christopher’s journey is marked by the care of his devoted parents, Mark and Jennifer Minor, who provide around-the-clock support as he navigates life with a tracheostomy tube and feeding tube. Despite the challenges, our love for him grows deeper with each passing day.
As we approach the eighth anniversary of Christopher’s miraculous return, we find solace in our unwavering faith.
Chris Was Into Body Building Before His Accident
A bodybuilder is typically characterized by their commitment to strength training and physique enhancement. Overall, a bodybuilder embodies a lifestyle focused on physical fitness, health, and self-improvement through consistent effort and determination. Chris ran his own business, Discount House Painters. He was known for his hard work and love of painting. Exercise was a way he improved his life. Today his parents have continued this healthy lifestyle by providing organic formula, juices, supplements and exercise daily.

Nicholas' Devastating Accident
In February 2017, Chris' dad, Mark, was in the front yard of his home with Nicholas and his son Jordan. A young man was working on his car, which was a Mercury Grand Marquis. All of a sudden the car started and kicked into reverse. The owner of the car managed to grab the steering wheel which guided the car into the front yard…. the driverless car, accelerated in reverse, went into the yard where Jordan and Nicholas were playing. Mark ran to get to Nicholas and Jordan, but Nicholas was struck by the rear bumper of the car. Mark was ran over trying to save Nicholas and Jordan. He was rushed to Atrium Medical Center and then careflighted to Miami Valley Hospital. Nicholas was careflighted to Dayton Children's Hospital. Jordan, thankfully, was not injured.
Mark survived after several surgeries, but Nicholas didn't. Our sweet baby Nicholas passed away at the age of three years old. Nicholas is a HERO, he was an organ donor and saved three lives. Mark still suffers with some pain and walks differently; he walks closer to God.
